Well GT works fine for me, if it was down it seems I missed it.

As mentioned, whereas I have control panel access to GT, I don't have shell/FTP access, and the issues we're having requires access to the server to fix. The Ali's are aware of this of course, however they claim the issues appear in in a way that doesn't make it easy to automatically clean at regular intervals (which I've suggested more than once).

Back to the topic this week i often visited GT
most of the time was apparently working (i could see the page with the board index) but only at a quick glance:
looking better any attempt to see a topic just was leading to a error page

A few times instead then the home page or of the board index was just a error page

only 2 times (on almost 20 attempt ) was REALLY online and working

It must be their way of making excuses, because without getting into the specifics of server administration. It is possible to maintain a server with minimal downtime, outside of a full-blown DoS attack, which I doubt would be high on the list of probabilities.

There isn't really a lot you can do without FTP access to the host server.
Maybe you should direct them to this forum for a peek on how all the users feel about the down time?
