Hi everyone,

My name is Liana I live in central MN on a farm. I have been looking for a place to learn a bit more about gimp than I already know which is not a whole lot. LOL I have been playing around with it since September 2010. A little before then but not as serious. WInter is a good time for me to be more creative and learn. :) So, I have done some editing of pics(resizing, transparency, etc) nothing too complex, I created a few brushes nothing fancy edited some images/drawings I had, and I have created some textures. I do most of my work and submit it to IMVU. My goal is to learn more about what each tool, option, button, etc is meant to do. Basic stuff been looking for a good book to get and learn from most tuts online well...I will leave it at that. lol ANy suggestions for books are welcomed. :) Thanks again.

P.S. I uploaded some of my projects I have done so far. :)
Liana

Welcome aboard! You will love it here, as we all do. I've been using Gimp forever and I still learn new things. The only stupid question is the one we don't ask!

heh, except that we rarely are online at the same time, and rarely look down at the chat. Better to post in an appropriate board, as we all can see the 'new post' listings.
