I can't find the one I was using cuz I forgot the name of it. It was only within the last few days that I tried it. It had quite a long page with lots of choices, I wanted to change the gradient and as soon as I clicked it, Gimp closed down 3 times in a row. I have been looking for it for about an hr.

I think it could have been stroke, what is the name of that last or second last script you wrote? I should make a special folder just for your scripts, lol

Graechan, I tried it 3 more times with the error console open, it doesn't write an error, it happens so fast. I click the gradient, a list of gradients comes up, I click a different gradient then bang Gimp has disappeared without leaving an error.
As soon as I clicked on that purple gradient, it closed. no error, just plain closes.

Yes I do still have windows 7 64 bit but I don't go there so I don't need any scripts. I only go there when I am transcoding movies with convertxtoDVD cuz I don't have it in Linux
