zip attached includes source (c file) and compiled binary and dll file.
Place both the binary and dll file in your plugins folder the plugin will be located at
Filters>Generic>FFT Forward and FFT Inverse

If you mouse over FFT Forward you get an explanation of what the plugin does for removing moire patterns on images scanned from books.

For instance i used it to create more texture in my ConformalMap Image.
Before running FFT Forward and FFT Inverse.

Worth pointing out that G'mic has an excellent (although a bit odd to look at) implementation.

FFT is often necessary for scanned images, I did this quick howto for someone.
