Unless you changed the last script I included my tests for the last script.

during your night time, Issabella made some more tests with new small amendment in the script: the last version tested seems to be OK for small, medium and large images.
Hence, I put here this last modified version (still awaiting other modifications as suggested by Graechan, to become final).

thus, please substitute again the script in your folder and make your tests with it (during my night time)

the same is true for everybody who wants to get variable bevel, according to the input image size

edit: Gnutux, you too may do more tests using this amended version

Dinasset I've sent you a PM with my proposed changes included in your script
I've also noticed that you used 'python-layerfx-bevel-emboss' if you changed that to the script-fu version then that to could also be added
