I don't know if python works. With the 64bit package, I had some troubles.

If there is interest, I will post the portable versions - Windows (Mac later) - 32 and 64 bit with of course my Useful plugins build.

i saw "gimpainter" magically merged with "gimprggjan" :flirt

and i saw in their offspring the best from both :
the Mix brush and the rggjan selection tool ,
the patches from Onkel Hatti , ( viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2607&start=130 ).
and the Ramon Miranda GPS-Gimp Paint Studio http://www.ramonmiranda.com/p/gps.html

Well, my builds do have G'MIC 1.5.4.0 preinstalled ...

PS: I was told that the number of smileys were restricted to 14 and so cannot add more.

yes i know !
...and apply the Onkel Hatti patches to gimpainter code before compiling will not solve for the rest ?

Somehow i think gps too should be included as default in a similar configuration
...but in case add GPS or what else later on is easy

But for me would be not easy apply the OH patches to the gimpainter code and compile

Thank you very much.
There are several problems in 32 bit:
- Onkel Hatti version (2.8.3) does not work Python - Mypaint Brush Tools works perfectly!
- Partha version (2.8.1) running Python - but it works badly Mypaint Brush Tools (when you brush - LPM is not active).
I think it can be solved replacing the files?
So far version Onkel Hatti - the best version of Gimp (unless you add the - with wishes PhotoComix "gimprggjan" and large previews ?) !

ps. very interesting for me - a reflection of oblique images and guides.

I changed my version on sourceforge.
For working python, you have to edit the file
lib\gimp\2.0\interpreters\pygimp.interp

The two entries show: C:\Python27\pythonw.exe

Both entries must be changed to:

..\python\pythonw.exe

Then Python works with my versions.

@Samj

Using the single window mode something peculiar happens

Image

The "active tool" option appear twice (framed in red in the image ),once in a expected place another in a sort of toolbar under the usual menu :

The toolbar looks cool but may be switched off/on or display something else ?

Edit
i could not find the quickmask button

Bonjour,

I never use the mode "single window" and it is a surprise. I like the new layout with the tool options at the top :jumpclap
I have no problem finding the quick mask, it is always in the same place.
