When I select the "Use color from gradient" from the tool options I can then paint using the colors from my selected gradient. If I unselect the "Use color from gradient" and I have random color selected in my Brush Dynamics then the gradient colors are still used and not the foreground and background colors. Shouldn't my paintbrush stop using the gradient colors if the option is unselected?

Duh......Gimp uses the gradient color when I have the random color selected in my Brush Dynamics in the tool options. I should have looked closer before posting this.
