I was checking out a tutorial that used a certain font (free), and it turns out its AFM

http://blog.typeslashcode.com/doughboy/

I've tried multiple ways to convert it, but it apparently doesn't have any forks or an outline file (PFB) to make the conversion. Tried to open it in Font Forge, tried using fondu and ufond, nothing seems to work.

Any Mac users able to test this font?

I asked over at Annex Cafe Fonts if the font could be converted and this is the reply I got.
Character at Annex Cafe Fonts wrote:
No. An .afm file contains only metric information and no outlines. That is, it includes such data as kerning pairs and size data, but no letter shapes. You can open and look at an .afm file in any text editor (The text in this message IS the attached .afm file.

.afm files are usually seen along with .pfm and .pfb OR .inf and .pfb files. They are NOT particularly part of .mac fonts, but are associated with Type 1 fonts, usually PC. Mac Fonts and PC/Windows fonts can be converted back and forth.

If anyone would know how to do it, Character would.

Well never mind. Apparently the zip file had other information that could be used and Character used that info to convert the file to a ttf font. I had only attached the afm file. Character downloaded the zip file.

It also needs the .suit file to be useable. .suit files are unique to Macs and are a font-specific packaging mechanism.

Attached is the original font (a Mac Type 1 font) converted to PC (the .pfm and .pfb files) along with conversions to Truetype and Opentype.

There is NO copyright or other identifying information in the font. Lucas Sharp's name could be added, but that wouldn't be what he posted.

I've attached the zip file Character attached in the newsgroup.
