I made a facebook template but by accident I put the settings to grayscale ( for some weird reason, I guess I was tired or something lol ). How do I delete this template?

In your Gimp "User files/folders" there's a file named "templaterc". If you open this file with WordPad or whatever text editor you use. You will find the templates there that you have created.
Simply highlight it and delete it. Being careful to only highlight the templates that you would like to remove. Once you have removed a template, remember to save the file with this new change.

In Gimp, Windows menu | Dockable Dialogs | Templates.

This is the quickest way to remove/delete an unwanted canvas template.
Thanks for suggesting this alternative method, I completely forgot about this technique. :bigthup
BTW... One can also edit or make changes to an existing template using this dialog.

Thanks a lot! @ Wallace and Odinbc. I've been searching myself silly to find a solution, and with that method of " windows/ dockable dialogs / templates ", the issue was solved in a few seconds! Only had to change that grayscale to RBG.

You're welcome, glad I could be of some help to you. I'm also pretty sure that Odin feels the same way about this. :bigthup

I've used GIMP for over two years, and didn't know this. O: I've been making templates manually in the template.rc file itself. So this thread should be pretty helpful to other people searching on Google too.
