Ill try the black back ground. hopefully the eye is in good standing that i wont need to edit it any more

Ok here is what the wife and i came up with. thanks for the help and ideas. each card will have a different eye color as well. ok so we will have 5 diff eye colors. haha

thank you much. she has worked hard at her schooling. The card is a square 2.5 inch by 2.5 inch. This way, it stands out a little bit more when people o to job fairs and they have 200 standard business cards in their hand only one will stand out.

im still getting used to the gimp big time. same features as photoshop, just different place. IE, alpha to selection, in PS, its jut you select what you want and then paste it. wen you ctrl+click on the layer, it does the alpha to selection automatically. or maybe ctrl+click is the hot key. hahahaha
