Bonjour,

Download :
http://www.aljacom.com/~gimp/Gimp-2.8-32bit-Partha.7z

72 348 463 bytes

This version is compiled by Partha (partha.com)
+ Some dll from Gimp SourceForge.
Thank you for compiling.
This version can run on a USB key.
The utility program "maringouin.exe" is changed to 32-bit versions.
The plugins compiled in 32-bit can run on this version.
You must start Gimp by clicking on a .bat file ( Demarrer_Gimp.bat )
Startup is a little slow (Search all plugins on every boot).
Tested on Windows 7 32bit/64bit
This archive will be available a few days.
Some plugins are installed:
- Partha 32-bit plugins.
- UFRaw.
- CamoTruck.

It'll probably turn out that this is just my computer, but I noticed some menu and preference items aren't highlighted when you hover your mouse over them even though they still function. Also, I get strange squares floating over my screen at times.

Seems to work fine with my Windows 32 bit XP os. :)
I did not however add anything to it and probably will not.
Nice to have one Gimp-2.8 with less load time and quicker response. :lol

Runs good for me though.
Thanks again folks.

A small inconvenience:
strange behavior when opening files (menu open image).
Creating preview (for *. jpg, *. png, *.bmp ...) To infinity ...
Identical badly on different computers.

One question to Samj:
I would like to put in pref_1 a program that supports a well *.8bf (eg PainNet).
It is a call from ShellOut - if you can (and how) to determine the relative path to the exe file?

do you mean create a folder where host program supported by shell-out inside, and have its path registered , to have everything in place even running from a USB drive ?

Because if portability is not a problem i can't see your problem with the path, that is a path to set up in the script (what maringouin may do in this case is ,( if i understand it right )remap the path when gimp is used as portable,
but for this or the program is included inside ,inside gimp or inside the Usb drive where is also gimp,, or is supposed to be on a know path (i.e. C:/Program Files/Xnview/xnview.exe... i suppose may be even inside the same usb drive)

Or i miss the point ?

@MareroQ

If, with the terminal you are in the directory C:\foo\Gimp-2.8-32bit-Partha\pref_1\scripts
to start Gimp, you can do :

..\..\..\Gimp-2.8-32bit-Partha\maringouin_2_8.exe demarrer_gimp langue_0 nomades_1
or
..\..\bin\gimp.exe
or
..\..\..\Gimp-2.8-32bit-Partha\bin\gimp.exe

(..\ used to go from one level to the root, this principle is used to make relative addressing)

Thank you very much Samj !
That's what it was - and it works for Gimp on USB.

Examples for Shellout:
http://www.gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=970&p=53871#p53871

Proposals
For all new users should be considered:
1. The file *. guf in userfilters
2. Mathmap

Why? From my own experience - I learned about these programs after several months of use GIMP.

Optional:
3. Delaboratory ~ 12 mb;
4. LabCurves ~81 mb or EAW ~30 mb:
5. Paint.net (in my opinion the best for PSPI) ~ 6 mb (are defined: the rights to use, copy, publish, and distribute ...)

If i remember well ,Paint.net is not anymore open source so can't be included (if not some old version)
Not sure if there is any open source program supporting PS filter..there are many free but i fear none open source

so basically they have a license incompatible with gimp, users are free to add them but is forbidden pack them together with gimp

No problem for delaboratory , Photivo or the labcurves filters

Should be something out there with the correct license. :)
