My aunt wants to start using gimp and she has a mac. The problem with that is that I don't know anything about macs. Do they make gmic for macs? Do they make mathmap for macs? Does gimp for mac use the same scripts and plugins? I'm going to need to know these things because she'll ask. I've suggested that she join this forum but I don't know if she has or will. She is brand new to gimp and comes from a photoshop background.

I'm curious if anyone else on this forum is using OSX (Lion preferably) with the recently released 2.8.0 from lisanet.de? I've submitted a bug entry to the tracker where the Color Curves dialog is crashing GIMP when opened :(

Anyone else having this same issue?

I reported this directly to Lisa at Gimper.

Good warning. I will wait until this is fixed. Also, does this gimp happen to come with the gmic plug-in already in it?
