There were errors in twain and win-snap, but at that point I got tired of troubleshooting and just removed them.

Actually, if you remove -Werror=missing-prototypes
from plug-ins\twain\Makefile
then Twain plug-in compiles just fine.

Thanks Max.
Another thing i realized is that i have many dependencies missing/not usable after configure runs.
Jasper - for JPEG2000 support
Poppler
LCMS (seems to be too old or unusable) - although i have the latest version installed.
I have TIFF support (according to my config), but my compiled version will not run TIFF save or TIFF load.
RSVG - not found - although i have it installed and it works for plug-in compiles

I also noticed after my compiles are finished there are missing DLL files in the msys/opt/gimp-2.7.5/bin folder?
Do you guys add these from the GTK libraries? Or are these supposed to be compiling, and installing to the bin folder?

It just seems like there should be a way to have all my env dependencies in Msys/opt so everything gets found there.
Instead of C:/GTK, C:/MONO, C:/Msys/opt, and C:/MinGW. That just seems so screwy and messy too me.
As it is most of the needed GTK includes/libs seem to be found through my C:/mono folder tree.

On a side note -
I just grabbed the newest release from the official download page of Gimp-2.7.4
The release for Windows that is.Seems to run real good , it's just real slow.

Out of curiosity, how can this thread be titled Windows GIMP 2.7.5 when the GIMP devs just released 2.7.4 less than a week ago? Or is this the way to number the GIT version between official Gimp dev releases?

Libraries that are available as binaries, I unpack into C:\GTK
Some libraries I had to build from sources, after that I copy all folders from C:\msys\1.0\opt\gimp-2.7.4\ into C:\GTK

This might have something to do with the twain problems.
(I assume that it has to do with scanner support)
http://git.gnome.org/browse/gimp/commit ... e00669cc21
In Linux we use "xsane" to use scanners.
Xsane installs a Gimp plugin automatically.
In Windows it seems different.
Gerard.
