Yes your right, I didn't see your original massage.
It's for your own privet use, is this correct? If so... sure you can use them.
All I ask is that you don't redistribute them as your own images, or anything like that.
I made them strictly for personal/privet use, not to be sold or redistributed in any way.
As long as you agree to this you can freely use them.
Thanks for having the decency to ask, I really appreciate this. :bigthup

No not only private use , it is distributed https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-packagers/files/
Even if as now the documentation (and so all credits ) is missing, (but coming soon )

Obviously i would in case just use 1 and i will credit, but the credit will be a endless list (because the many, many added script, plugin, brush, gradients and so on ) not sure how many will go thought such huge list, that anyway is still to be done.
(it is also my bigger nightmare how to automatize the creation of that list with referral links..will be not also awful but also impossible have to do all manually, it would take eons )

@PhotoComix,

If that's the case then you have my permission to us whatever GIMP splash screen I made for this distribution.

@alc59,

Looks cool, although it could use a little refinement. I also like the frame of the image as well.
Nice concept! :bigthup

No, I used this 3-D text script: http://registry.gimp.org/node/24671, and played with the settings a lot.
oh, i have that installed as well

especially like how you used textures on the 3D extrusion

just had another look at the pictures with the bubbles, that awesome as well, minus the jagged edges at the text

i tried to add some bubbles as a background to a text in a sprayer style yesterday, but couldnt get it right
two pictures with the style im talking about, in case you are curious what it looks like

@Esper,

I could try my hand at adding the bubbles to you image for you. If this is something your interested in?
I could make the bubbles look like what's on the album/record sleeve.

Sorry, but I'm not very good at putting together tutorials. I do still have the xcf file, if that would help?
A lot of what I do isn't really any one technique, just a lot of trial and error, seeing what work and what doesn't and playing with 'layer-modes' and stuff like that.

I've never upload xcf files here, can this be done?
