yes was the last version with the installer .
I may try again i only noticed that no filters were available except a few imported from gimp 2.6 (portable even installed in a no standard location as C:/gimportable 2.6.11 ) i didn't dig more i just tought was a problem with the enviroment variable.

I may try again if may help, if worked well for others i suspect a issue with the computer locale language ,my is in Italian
Would be nice if somebody else with the computer in French or Spanish may test, maybe here or in the flickr group we may found some guinea pig...
7 is a bit tricky, should always consider english and translated names as alias (i.e. "Programmi" and "Program Files" should be seen by 7 as equivalent ) but in pratice this not always happens.

PS yes i noticed the installer ..cool :hi5

Hi PC,

If it helps, I have had people from all over the world download and install without a language issue including French and Spanish with the new versions.

We solved the "programmi issue" a long time ago. I use Windows supplied environment variables to locate Windows directories.

As for the portable, the portable version I supply does not touch any location other than where it is installed.

Thanks,
Partha

i never say the contrary ... it works very well

i will try to reinstall the standard version if for other works may be something related to the configuration of my PC:
i installed and played with so many graphic programs and utilities many in a beta developing stage some in alpha or even pre-alpha stage
i can't exclude that some experimenthal app screwed up something causing this problems

For me, GIMP works seamlessly in home language (pl).
Only sometimes I want to select another language interface - (only the bat file) - but:
How to solve JamesH ?
You may also choose the installation language ? (75 are redundant to me ...)
Gentlemen, once again my sincere thanks for the opportunity to use!

if you want more language to choose
maybe you could try this
gimp-2.7-32bits http://www.4shared.com/file/ZhNhOwAE/GIMP-27-32.html
or
gimp-2.7-64bits http://www.4shared.com/file/lTpPeOs1/GIMP-27-64.html
these were made with the officeial build
that is found on sourceforge and was made by Jernej Simončič
only with gswin pre-installed to have ability to open eps, pdf file

if you downloaded 64bits and want to use some 64bits plug-ins
course you can put them into lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins folder
but some dll may in conflict with the original one
so you can create a new folder, maybe plug-ins64
Image

and edit GimpLauncher.cfg text file
(start // mean this line is comment)
change this line
//plug-in-path|settings/plug-ins/32Bits|1
to this
plug-in-path|settings/plug-ins64|1
then GimpLauncher.exe will add plug-in-path to the gimprc file

gimp-2.7-64bits(full) http://www.4shared.com/file/lEioFAhC/GIMP-27-64_full_.html
include 64bits plug-in GMIC1.5.0.3 compiled by samj, 32bits GAP, Mathmap, apng, ...
and mplayer to MPlayer based extraction, gswin64c to open eps, ps, pdf file
