In 2.7.3 (XP 32 bit) is omitted (except for file-svg) also:
file-pdf (just add a plus-5.dll libpoppler; libpoppler-glib-4.dll)
file-xpm (bad depending libXpm-noX4.dll - but it works)
I think in the next edition can be added ?

I am not sure if this is GIMP 2.7.3 related, but today I was trying to run PC's Glass Tiler, and well it wouldn't tile, all the other parts work, I am using the most recent release from GMIC.
This should be stickied, and the other should be unsticked :)

some script are misplaced in the plugin folder, some should be eliminated

i correct most on my local copy, i promised to Partha to upload it several days ago , but i always delay to correct something here and there...anyway i will upload today at soon i will be back home

Saul's new Posterize Script-fu gives errors but does work in 2.7.3. Other then the error issues (and of course lack of PSPI 64-bit as well as lack of SVG support), I like the new build. Seems spiffier then 32-bit too, but that could be because I haven't ported all my brushes/patterns to it yet. lol

Is that error something along the lines of "Posterize" should call Some destination, but instead it called some destination.

That happens with like every script I think. And they usually still work, except for PC's Script

and for curl exe also the 32 bit version works

So what should be the location of curl.exe?
I don't have it in my GIMP 2.7.3 folder

Hi All,
I use Gentoo Linux so my problems are quite different from MS users.
I did a new install from git today on a separate partition,no Gimp-2.6.11 next to it.
I recently bought a Wacom Bamboo PT tablet.
It works fine on my Gimp-2.6.11 in my regular partition.
I set the stylus and eraser in Gimp-2.7 preferences like I did in Gimp-2.6.
It draws and erases ok but the pressure doesn't work at all!
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks in advance.
Gerard.

G'day Gimp-64er's,
Have installed GIMP 2.7.3 64bit it went with out a hitch on Windows7 SP1 64bit, fresh install. I had already completed a GIMP 2.6, 32bit install with Python 2.6, 32bit. After a quick response from Partha to my question to partha.com site email. I Did a complete un-install.
Anyway I installed GIMP 2.7.3 64bit and while I was at it grabbed the Python 2.7.1 64bit and couldn't find a All in One 64bit archive but found this 'wgtk+-bundle_2.22.1-20101229_win64.7z' and well it's the first time for that I was going to pull out of the archive what was needed and check newer versions as they were matching the version numbers I have just downloaded a lot of single versions like cairo 64bit etc.. than I thought bugger I'll throw them all in. Seems to be working no problems have Python-fu "unless this came with the install," :rofl :rofl it really did work, Confirmation on this is needed :) Haven't worked with it yet still configuring other programs.

Thanks Partha Great Job, fresh start with GIMP 64 have G'mic, Save to Web and some of the addons from- plugins-install-64bit.zip. Loads Faster than GIMP 32bit :yes

regards :seeya

Partha integrated Python with his build. I too have been testing (on and off) 2.7.3 64-bit and it works quite well. Still lacks SVG import ability currently, but Partha said it will be in there next build. That is pretty much the crux for me since I use SVG import often enough that this is a game buster. Still, it is quite stable and Partha even got G'MIC to work with it which gives me great satisfaction. :)

Hu? why all that work with Python ?
It is already included and so Gimp 2.7.3 (from Partha) suppport Python scripts on the fly ,all what needed is already included
