Just downloaded and installed it into its OWN new directory (Inkscape_NEW)
Just so i do not mess up my stable version. :)

It is supposed to have mesh gradients added now.More information here.

You can download the test beta exe file here - Windows skydrive - you will probably need to login.
(install into a different directory other than your Inkscape-0.48.2 version)

I will let you know what i think. :)

Installed it yesterday; should have un-installed the old version and deleted the directory like they recommended. It took over 45 minutes to install and I suspect that's why it did so. Works great though; single Window now; guess that's they way things are going. Only use Inkscape as a glorified filter anyway, since I'm mainly a GIMPer. :)

That is wicked Rod; so the filters dynamically change when you move an object then? Way too wack. lol

:)

Actually i did not know this was already available in 48.2 :)
I discovered something new. :lol

I do believe the gradients look more realistic now though.

Works with any grouped objects apparently Rod. I used the edit path by nodes to shift one of the objects within the group around. :)
