This is my attempt at animating a little opening scene, it's just under 5 seconds but it's aimed to be something to put in the beginning of my videos.

In the images the background is pure white, but when I save with Windows MovieMaker it makes the background grey! :gaah :gaah :hoh :cry

[Edit: It seems to be white now.]

Fixed Video Here (Click)

I'm laggy so I can't tell if the video works right.

Programs Used:
GIMP - Art
Acid - Sounds
Windows MovieMaker - Put All Together

Please tell me what you think! Good or bad! I'm not really that good at animating. xD

:tyspin

You may want to check your spelling before you use it. :)

That is a nice animation! I really like how short and clear it is, a lot intro's I've seen are too long and boring to watch. The glasses falling on the character is also a very nice detail!
I do have a few things about the text, it doesn't really fit I think. The illustration is vectory-like and sharp edged, I'd suggest to remove the shading behind the gold text and the reflection of the red text and see how that works :D Oh and I believe you mispelled 'Factoid' :P
But other than that it's good! The sounds fit perfectly too

I did? *looks* OMD I DID! D: ... I feel stupid now. :lol
I've been looking at it for hours and never noticed the typo....I'll fix that. xD

@ Spirit: I'm glad you like it! I wanted to have it simple and to the point, I wasn't sure what to do with the text either so... D:
I'll play around with the text some I can change that semi easily, just time consuming. xD

Thank you for the comments!

I like it! Very quick and effective. A pet peeve of mine is long intro segments, but I think yours is just about the perfect length. I didn't notice the typo until it was pointed out. But a lot of us have seen that trick where you can rearrange the middle letters of words, and still recognize them.

tihs is waht i'm taklnig aobut.

The sound didn't work for me.

Nevermind, Sound works. One of the cats (I suspect the little gray one) must've unplugged the speaker...

I liked. Too bad it's so short.
Very good indeed!

It's very cute and I think it suits you perfectly. Good job on both the artistic and technical side of the project.

I fixed the typo, and changed the text..Was aiming to be less glassy to fit the character, and now instead of a reflection it's a shadow. W/o the Shadow it looks empty.

Your example is how I normally type. LoL
I also hate long intros, even from Cinema, omd some movies it goes on 10 minutes telling you everyone in the movie then does it all over again at the end...We get it, famous people are in it! xD

Ha! well the little grey one is cute so...he'll get away with it. xD
Glad the sound works. :D

It's a really nice intro, and the sounds are perfect for the animation.
