Being given away for free until late November! Windows only i believe, sorry.
Get it while it's free!It is normally 89 USD.The free download is only available until November 24, 2011.
This is version 5 click here to get it (version 7 is the latest) so it may not contain all the goodies 6 or 7 does. But it's packed at 350+ mb download! :)

They sent me an email telling me my friends could get it free as they are celebrating PC Worlds announcement that Xara is the Photo Shop Killer.I have version 6 and it rocks.I am not sure if this version comes with 3-D extrusion, but i am downloading my own copy to check it out.Why not download it and put it on disc for your Windows platform, if you use it.

IMPORTANT - Reboot your computer after entering your registration key. This sets the key in your system.Otherwise until you do Xara will think it's not registered.

Thanks MrBiggz!

I still get emails from PSP when I got the free version of that one (which I never re-installed after upgrading to Win7). I will pass Rod; enough editors I have. lol

I'm really only interested in effects/filters. Xara might have something unique w.r.t. to that and if you see something, show and example. Then maybe I might delve into this deal. :)

Linux has a version - Xara Xtreme - for free. Can do some pretty good work in it. I just haven't had time to use it, focusing mainly on Gimp and Blender. My son uses it and says he likes it.

I have Xara Graphic Designer 6, and Xara 3-D for sharp text flash animations.
Love them both.

Well now i have Xara Designer 5 also. Guess i will keep it for the galleries. :)

@ Lyle - This program is excellent for re-sizing with NO loss of quality.
That might be useful to you.

Grazie sir!

Hey anybody try to install this? I did and then I went to register it and I get my registration code via email and it tells me that there was a problem registering the product. :hoh

Sense does it make, none!

A reboot was required after the registration code was put in. :gaah

Yes you folks at Linux have it made there! The source code before XARA grabbed it and commercialized it all. :)
I believe they are still porting this to Mac also.

Rod, I tried to download Xara and it wants me to put in a code. There is one already there but they say wrong code. Is it hidden somewhere?
