I use Vista and installed over VLC 1.1.x.

Thanks. I use smplayer most of the time because it doesn't use codecs and works well with GAP, but VLC is still one of my favorite players.

I have used VLC for over ten years and IMO, it is the best of the best media player out there.

I'm surprised VLC 2.0.1 (2012-03-19) has recently been released. VideoLAN doesn't normally update that often.

On a side note, LibreOffice is now at version 3.5.1. I would read the LibreOffice release notes first.

I've tried VLC on several computers and I just don't like it. It crashes on whatever I install it on. MS media player won't play .flv files, which is neanderthal of them. I keep coming back to to the kmplayer.
