Why, because I have Windows 7 on my other drive so I will go and look see if I can find the search.

I know what you mean Esper. You've uploaded a file to Gimp Chat and decided to make a change and had to get a new file name. Now where is the original file, right? I've been thinking about asking GnuTux the same question.

Sorry, I read it wrong. In my Manage attachments, I have six pages but I don't see any search box, but this is what my attachments look like.

There are actually two ways to upload files here. You can use the upload button Image to upload images. These are simply dumped into an upload folder and you're presented a link to the image, which you use to insert the image anywhere in your post. These images are not managed.

The other option is to attach a file. You can attach several different file types, including image files. Attached files can managed in your user control panel. Let's say you attach a file and then decide not to submit the post. That kind of action can cause a file to become "orphaned". Attachments that are not associated with a specific post show up in the Administrators' admin panel as orphaned files. Orphaned files that are not attached to a specific post are periodically deleted.

I'm currently showing 5 orphaned files..
