That is a nice light theme, your screen shot does not do it justice, there is a light ribbed effect to the dialogs. Those black themes kill my eyes and I find them difficult to read in screenshots as well.

You might be interested in the latest meet the gimp episode.
http://blog.meetthegimp.org/ about 7 minutes in, Roft shows a grey icon theme and also the Gimp Paint Studio packages, I have thought about these in the past but maybe over-the-top for my use.

This looks cool - I'll try it.

And you stole my image from the show! ;-)

...and I like the grey theme

It would be terrible if everyone was the same. Especially Rolf at MTG ;)

Oh, one should never make a joke on the internet, of course you are free to use the image - I even was flattered. Sorry for the misunderstanding and the bad feelings you have got.

All the work around Meet the GIMP is under Creative Commons and I am in no way fanatic about mentioning licenses and so on.

Edit: Your theme is featured in Episode 183 - just in the process of recording. Release Aug. 3rd or 4th.

I agree, to me that's the sign of really GOOD software, the ability to do the same thing several different ways. I guess that goes back to printshop, which most of us old timers will remember. It did one thing one way, with no means to add extensions, fonts, or graphics. It was the ultimate boredom but back then we all thought it was the coolest thing around.
