Took my zebra stripe texture, fed it into my Bunnies AOP, used resynthesizer to make it seamless (and a few additional GIMP tricks too of course). :)

they may have been seen by some already but it can't hurt.

Here's some patterns I made that have a crystal/marble like look.

I kept the xcf. So, if anybody wants something changed, just let me know.

Ok. these aren't professional quality but I was trying for an evil slimy alien creature type pattern for some frog text. If anybody finds this useful it's here for the taking.

i'm a pattern junkie, so i have wagonloads of 'em. the ones i post here are all my own and very typical of what i like to use. most were made in either silicon mirror (my all time favourite chaleidoscope software) or kaleider. two of them are real antiquities, made back in the days when things were saved on floppies and the quality of the average jpeg was actually laughable. i've kept the patterns as they are, with their flaws, and touch them up differently for every project where i use them. one of them was made with sTile, which i used together with free trial versions of paint shop pro to make my desktop just as weird as myself :). hope this can be of use to someone else even if the patterns are very AnMal!

Thanks AnMal. Scooped them up. I'm always up for new patterns, as if I didn't have enough already.

haha, thanks molly and AnMal !

im normally not a pattern guy and never quite know what to do with them, but i love kaleidoscopic patterns, so i had a look at them and especially one of them was too beautiful to not try something

you do know which one i used, dont you ? ;)

easy one, brother - the reflector threepass, most certainly. i went a bit crazy when i first found silicon mirror, i spent hours shooting pics of everything around me just to run it through the mirror and make patterns of it and one of my neighbours caught me suspiciously snooping around by his car (well, that's what it looked like to him) when i was trying to get some close ups of the cool reflector thingys around the backlights. this pattern and some other almost as beautiful made it worth the humiliation...
