Watched Wave

You never know who's watching when you're out in the forest.

My Christmas card for this year. Putting it up early as usual, to get feedback and in case people want to get a card of their own as a DA print. Oh, and an early Merry Christmas!

An insane amount of detail in this one. Can you spot all the "watchers"?

Did a recording while painting this, so there is a timelapse to be found here.

Update: Removed the man, became a better composition with having her just wave at us.

Beautiful. Love the little critters peeking. Excellent as always, Griatch.

Beautiful work, but can I ask why there is a man in the picture here and yet on the DA view he is missing.

Removed the man, it made for a better composition to have her just wave to us. :)

O my,
That is fantastic. I love the depth of the trees in the background. I also like the way you hid all those little creatures, especially the white bear blended into the white snow.
You are an inspiration Griatch.

It is magical!
I can not imagine how much you have worked to get so much detail in those trees. You achieved something like a 3D effect with those trees. Excellent.

Thanks a lot for the comments! The cards are off to the printers.

There are about a dozen "watchers" in there, but admittedly some are very hard to see unless you have access to the full-resolution original (or the print, maybe). I think finding seven-eight or so is very good. :)
