Haven't done much art lately so thought I would start with a few G'MIC blends (Anisotrophic smoothing followed by Stencil) and Mathmap random edge detect (for the most part) for this chalkboard result.

That's a pretty good effect. I've been playing a lot with G'MIC lately, though I've been looking more for ethereal effects than artistic ones.
